one of Mexico's most popular singers, nicknamed "El Sol de Mexico". His father
encouraged his artistic ambitions from an early age, urging him to analyze every
Elvis Presley video and recording to work on his stage act. At the age of 11,
Lui Miguel released his first album, Un Sol, on EMI Records, going gold. It was
accompanied by a hit single, "1+1=Dos Enamorados" (No. 1 in Mexico). In 1984,
