Having outgrown Les Déesses, Lylah, their main vocalist, logically moved on to a
solo career. Still backed by Kamnouze on songwriting, Lylah stands out from the
usual R&B singers. Lylah's sound is largely inspired by the current West Indian
sound, with its mix of zouk, R&B and dancehall. Lylah's debut album, Avec ou
Sans Toi, was released in November 2009, and the track "Touche pas", featuring
Lord Kossity, is one of the highlights.
