Germany's sibling alt-rock trio Madsen comprises singer and guitarist Sebastian
Madsen, lead guitarist Johannes Madsen, and drummer Sascha Madsen. The group
formed in 2003 in Priesseck—a district of Germany's Clenze (Wendland) region—and
scored chart success with their self-titled debut album in 2005, which went to
number 23 in Germany. Their sophomore LP Goodbye Logik came three years
later—cracking the German Top 10—followed by Frieden im Krieg in 2008 and
