Alessandro Mahmoud (September 12, 1992), aka Mahmood, is an Italian
singer-songwriter from Milan. He rose to the public eye after competing on the
sixth season of the music competition show The X Factor in 2012, after which he
worked a series of odd jobs while beginning to write his own material. In 2013,
Mahmood released his debut single “Fallin’ Rain,” followed by “Dimentica”
(2016), “Pesos” (2017), and his debut EP, Gioventù Bruciata in 2018. A
