Hernán Enrique Jiménez Pino, popularly known as Makano, is a Panamanian
reggaeton artist born on May 7, 1983, in Panama City. His journey into music
started early when, at the age of 12, he became a member of the reggaeton group
Los Makanos. The group vowed that the first among them to record a solo album
would keep the name Makano, which signifies strength and sturdiness akin to a
