Born on September 7, 1980 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India, Mamta Sharma found fame with the 2011 song "Munni Badnaam Hui" from 2010 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film Dabangg, for which she won a glittering array of awards including Best Playback Singer (Female) at the 56th Filmfare Awards.
