The late Maon Kurosaki (黒崎 真音) (born on 13 January 1988 in Tokyo) was a
prominent Japanese singer-songwriter closely associated with the anime industry.
After being discovered by music producer Akihiro Tomita in the early stages of
her singing career, her first big break came via a record deal with Geneon
Universal Entertainment (now NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan) with whom she
released her debut album H.O.T.D. in 2010. She went on to notch up another five
albums with similar commercial success, including Top 40 hits Reincarnation
(2014), Mystical Flowers (2015) and Beloved On...
