Marta Gómez is a Colombian singer-songwriter who mixes what she calls on her
website "the joy of the Caribbean with the nostalgia of the Andes adding jazz
and pop elements, taking the authenticity of South American indigenous folk
music into a new realm'. She has written more than 80 songs and made several
albums including 'Coloreando: Traditional Songs for Children in Spanish' as part
of the Global Language Project. It won the 2014 Latin Grammy Award for Best
Latin Children's Album.
Based now in Barcelona, Spain, she won a scholarship to the Berklee College of
