Armed with a banjo, a guitar and a stash of electronic beats, South African
folktronica innovator Matthew Mole adds brushstrokes of pop-minded electronica
to his festival-ready folk. Born on October 28, 1991 in Cape Town, South Africa,
the multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter made his debut in 2011 with the You
Did Well, Kid EP, which he followed with the Same Parts, Same Heart EP in 2012.
2013 saw the release of Mole's debut album, The Home We Built, on which he
