Christian rock singer and songwriter Matty Mullins – born in Spokane, Washington
on July 3, 1988 – is best known as lead vocalist of metalcore band Memphis May
Fire. Born into a conservative Christian family, he sang in several bands in his
hometown – including Nights in Fire - before auditioning for Memphis May Fire in
2008. He made his debut with the band on their 2009 debut album Sleepwalking and
has remained with them ever since, appearing on the albums The Hollow (2011),
