Maurane
A great voice of French chanson since the 1980s, Maurane (born Claudine
Luypaerts in Ixelles, Belgium, 1960-2018) has built up an image as discreet as
her respectability is established. Author of the famous "Sur un Prélude de Bach"
(1993), "Toutes les mamas" (1989) and "Tu es mon autre " (2002, duet with Lara
Fabian), she experienced a slight setback between her 1994 Victoire de la
musique and the comeback album Toi du Monde (2000). After reuniting with the
jazz trio of her early days HLM, who, twenty years after their first album,
recorded Un Ange Passe (2005), Maurane resurrect...
