Max Jury made his debut with 2014's Something in the Air, an EP that introduced
the songwriter's mix of retro-minded country-rock, lush Americana, and soulful
roots music. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, on May 12, 1992, he began listening to
artists like Neil Young, Gram Parsons, and Wilco as a teenager, which laid the
foundation for his own sound. After spending a year at Berklee College of Music
in Boston, he signed with the British indie label Marathon Artists and released
