May Jamileh Hashimoto, who goes by the name May J., is a J-pop singer born in
Yokohama of Iranian and Japanese heritage who began performing as a teenager,
and had a stint as a dancer before making her recording debut in 2006 with the
EP 'All My Girls'.
Her debut album 'Baby Girl' came out in 2007 and in 2009 'Family' went to number
four on Japan's Oricon Albums Chart. Other albums include 'For You' (2010),
