MELL
With her neo-realist songs with a punkish flavor, MeLL slips between French
alternative rock and the canons of nouvelle chanson française. Author and
composer, she began her career in Lorraine in the early 2000s. Mon Pied en
Pleine Face was released in 2003, enabling MeLL to tour the length and breadth
of France. Voiture à Pédales (Pedal Car ), released in 2005, takes to the
pavements like a 1977 racing car. MeLL then signed to Mon Slip, the Têtes Raides
label, and released C'Est Quand Qu'on Rigole in 2007. Produced by Toby Dammit,
