Michael Peterson is a Grammy-nominated country music singer-songwriter who has
scored a number of popular hits for the genre. Born in Tucson, Arizona on August
7, 1959 and raised in Washington state, Peterson got his start in country music
after setting up home in its beating heart, Nashville. He began working with
other artists including DeWayne Blackwell, Josh Leo and Robert Ellis Orrall
before releasing his first solo single. 1997's “Drink, Swear, Steal and Lie” was
