Born Joseph François Michel Rivard on September 27, 1951 in Montreal (Canada),
Michel Rivard is a Quebec pop singer. In 1969, he began his career as an actor
in the TV series Rue des Pignons . In 1970, he began to showcase his talents as
a songwriter, composer and musician with the troupe La Quenouille Bleue. At the
same time, he took on theatrical roles and recorded a few soundtracks. In 1972,
the musical group Beau Dommage was formed with Pierre Bertrand, Marie Michèle
Desrosiers, Réal Desrosiers, Michel Hinton, Pierre Huet and Robert Léger.
