The American soul and R&B band Mint Condition hail from St. Paul, Minnesota and,
coming from the same area where Prince established his name, it was perhaps
inevitable that the two should eventually meet and collaborate; to celebrate 20
successful years in the music business Mint Condition joined Prince on his
Welcome 2 America tour in 2010. In later years after Prince's death Mint
Condition's founding member, drummer and lead vocalist Stokley Williams, would
join Prince's backing band The Revolution to perform some of Prince's early
material during their tour.
