The German-Romanian singer and composer Miss Platnum was born Ruth Maria Renner
on September 27, 1980 in Timișoara, Romania. After her first, comparatively
unnoticed album Rock Me (2005), her second album Chefa is released on 25 May
2007, which is characterized by a mixture of hip-hop, soul, R&B, dancehall and
Romanian music elements. The single "Come Marry Me" is a collaboration with
Peter Fox, a member of the band Seeed, and enters the German charts at number
