Vietnamese pop singer and actress Miu Lê was born Le Anh Nhat on July 5, 1991, in the city of Ho Chi Minh. After a brief stint in modeling, she made her acting debut in Le Hoang's 2009 teen comedy series Nhung Thien Than Ao Trang and later kicked off her singing career with a few singles for the NewGen Entertainment label that went largely unnoticed by local audiences.
