Modern Talking were a German synth-pop and dance act featuring singer Thomas Anders, songwriter, guitarist and producer Dieter Bohlen and producer and engineer Luis Rodriguez; rapper Eric Singleton joined them from 1998 to 2001. They had two stints from 1984 to 1987 and from 1998 to 2003.
