Algerian raï singer born in Algiers on December 4, 1970, Mohamed Lamine began
his career in 1984, after winning the Alhane Wachababe competition. His first
track, "Sidi Tabeb", proved an instant hit with Algerian audiences, who raved
about the albums Sid Juge (1990), Raï sur Casbah (1995), Bessah Emchit (1996)
and Fatek Louakt Rah (1998), as well as cassettes such as En Live à Paris
(1997). A guest on Magic System's "Un gaou à Oran " with the group 113, which
