Member of the group 113, Mokobé is a rapper from Vitry sur Seine. In the 2000s,
he enjoyed success with his group before releasing his solo album Mon Afrique in
2007, featuring contributions from Youssou N'Dour, Diam's, Booba, Amadou et
Mariam and Manu Chao. At the same time, the rapper worked for film and
television. With his inspiration still split between African music and rap,
Mokobé released Africa Forever in October 2011.
