Murat Boz (March 7, 1980) is a Turkish singer-songwriter and actor. Born in the city of Karadeniz Ereğli, he mastered the piano and violin during high school and enrolled in Istanbul Bilgi University in 1999. He took his first steps in music as a background vocalist for Tarkan and then launched his solo career with the album Maximum (2007), whose title track topped the Billboard Turkey charts later that year.
