Originally from Florida, the Texas based Christian songwriter, record producer, singer and organist Myron Butler cut his first record Lift Me Up at the tender age of 17. The song was performed by the DFW Mass Choir from Texas and during the time in the studio a friendship developed between Butler and choir director Chris Franklin. Around this period Butler formed a community choir which later became God's Property, a respected choral group with a strong following in the Dallas area.
