Nacash
Also known as "Brothers Nacash" and "Les Frères Nacash," Nacash is a world music
vocal group from France. The band was formed in 1970 by Alain Nakache, Claude
Nakache , Gérard Nakache, Norbert Nakache, and Marc Nakache, five brothers whose
Algerian-Jewish father had become a master of Andalusi classical music before
moving the family to France in early 1960s. "Les Fatmas Parisiennes (A Paris Les
Parisiennes) / Moi Je T'Aime," Nacash's first single, was released in 1971, but
the band truly hit its stride during the 1980s, releasing seven albums
