Natalie La Rose
Natalie La Rose was born on 11 July 1988 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her
parents are of Surinamese origin, and she studied singing and dancing. At the
age of twenty, the fan of Beyoncé and Whitney Houston flew to Los Angeles,
California to pursue her artistic dreams. In 2010, she became one half of the
unsuccessful female duo Amsterdam. Full of nerve, Natalie La Rose then
approached Flo Rida directly and became his backing vocalist from 2011 to 2013.
Her patience was rewarded in 2014 with her debut single "Somebody". This R&B
