An American singer born in Iowa in 1982, Nate Ruess is best known for his work
with indie rock bands The Format, until 2008, and then Fun. with whom he
released the albums Aim and Ignite in 2009 and Some Nights in 2012. It was with
the latter group that he scored his biggest hits, including three chart-toppers:
"Some Nights", "Carry On" and, above all, "We Are Young " (the Grammy
Award-winning duet with Janelle Monae, American No. 1). Eager to showcase his
voice in spheres other than rock, Nate Ruess went on to collaborate with Anthony
Green, Pink, Eminem and Brian Wilson. When F...
