Originally a member of the short-lived girl group Viva, Neha Bhasin later found
success as an award-winning playback singer in the the Bollywood film industry.
She was born in Delhi, India, on November 18, 1982, and studied both dance and
classical vocal techniques as a child. She joined Viva at 18 years old,
appearing on the pop group's 2002 debut, VIVA!, as well as the 2003 follow-up
Viva! - Reloaded. When Viva's career stalled in 2004, Neha Bhasin began working
as a playback singer, making her Bollywood debut with "Bullet – Ek Dhamaka" —
