Nate Feuerstein, aka NF, had his breakthrough with EP NF in 2014 which peaked at
number four on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums Chart. Born Nathan John
Feuerstein on March 30, 1991, in Gladwin, Michigan he experienced a tumultuous
childhood marred by parental divorce and then abuse at the hands of his mother's
boyfriend. His father decided to raise him alone and so he took to rap music as
an escape from his difficult past. In 2009, his mother tragically died from an
overdose, an event which would later inspire his song "How Could You Leave Us."
