Nina Kraviz
One of the first women to become a globe-trotting, headlining techno DJ, Nina
Kraviz grew up in rural Siberia, but made her way through post-communist Russia
to play at Ibiza's superclubs, the world's biggest dance festivals and even an
afterparty at the Great Wall of China. Born in the city of Irkustk, the capital
of eastern Siberia, she was something of an outsider at school, but was
mesmerised by her father's extensive collection of rock, disco and jazz records,
