Nina Sky
The duo Nina Sky is comprised of Puerto Rican identical twins Nicole and Natalie
Albino. The two sisters moved to the USA in the late 1980s and after their
parents were divorced they were brought up in Astoria in the Queens district of
New York. From an early age the two girls decided they wanted to be singers and
began composing songs before they were ten-years-old. Their stepfather was a DJ
and this exposed the girls from an early age to a wide range of musical
influences and in particular hip-hop which became a major part of New York's
musical culture.
