Born Nívea da Costa Pinto Soares on July 25, 1976 in Belo Horizonte, Minas
Gerais, the Brazilian Christian singer, songwriter, worship pastor, writer and
television presenter known as Nívea Soares began singing with her family's
church choir as a child before rising to fame as a backing vocalist for
Brazilian contemporary Christian band Diante do Trono in 1998. As part of the
ministry of Lagoinha Church in Belo Horizonte, and steered by singer Ana Paula
