Nura Habib Omer (December 24, 1988) is an Eritrean-born German rapper and
actress, mostly known for her political and social commitment to the LGBTQ
community. She fled Kuwait with her parents at the age of 3 and settled first in
Oberhausen and then in Wuppertal. After turning 18, she moved to Berlin due to
internal conflicts within her family and became a dancer for the electroclash
band The Toten Crackhuren im Kofferraum. In 2014, Nura teamed up with rapper
Juju to form the provocative hip-hop duo SXTN, who released a studio album and
