O.T. Genasis had a rocky entry to the music industry when a deal with 50 Cent's G-Unit Records didn't pan out, but a subsequent move to Busta Rhymes' Conglomerate Records saw his career take off. Born Odis Oliver Flores in Atlanta, Georgia on June 18th 1987, O.T. Genasis grew up in Long Beach, California, listening to artists such as Cutty Ranks, Buju Banton, T.I., Ludacris, Tupac Shakur, Shabba Ranks and 50 Cent.
