Obie Trice is an American hip-hop performer who started singing karaoke as a
child and began entering rap battles in Detroit as a teenager. Signed to
Eminem's Shady Records, he released his debut album 'Cheers' in 2003. Featuring
guest artists Busta Rhymes, Eminem, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Dr. Dre and Nate Dogg,
the album went to number three on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.
