Formed in Harrisonburg, North Carolina in 1998, American string band dedicated
to blending old-time country music with super-charged rock energy, the Old Crow
Medicine Show initially started life busking outside a pharmacy in Boone, North
Carolina, where they were discovered by legendary folk/country icon Doc Watson.
They had their beginnings when Ketch Secor and Critter Fuqua met in seventh
grade at school in Harrisonburg, Virginia and, apparently inspired by a Bob
Dylan bootleg track, "Rock Me Mama", they started playing it together at open
