O'queStrada completely renews traditional Portuguese folk music. Not the
sophistication of fado, but the tunes sung in the streets and countryside.
O'queStrada's music has a certain claim to fame, and its message is not devoid
of social and political criticism. Formed in 2002, O'queStrada met with success
with Tasca Beat, their debut album. Released in 2009, Tasca Beat topped the
Portuguese charts, before its international release in summer 2010. O'queStrada
reminds us that Portugal is a cultural gateway to Europe with Atlantic Beat:
Mad'in Portugal in 2014.
