Orietta Galimberti (June 1, 1943), mostly known by her stage name Orietta Berti, is an Italian singer and television personality. Born in the municipality of Cavriago in the province of Emilia-Romagna, Orietta Berti took up lyrical singing lessons from a very young age, encouraged by her music-loving father. After taking part in several singing competitions, she was offered a recording contract with Polydor, who released her studio debut Orietta Berti Canta Suor Sorriso in 1965.
