Origin
Origin is a hyper-technical death metal band that combines extreme brutality
with instrumental prowess. Formed in 1997 in Topeka, Kansas, by guitarist and
vocalist Paul Ryan, Origin released their self-titled debut album in 2000.
Origin returned in 2002 with Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas, followed by
numerous stage appearances, often in the company of similar bands. Origin
undergoes regular personnel changes, leaving Paul Ryan alone at the helm of his
creation. Echoes of Decimation in 2005 was a major disappointment for fans.
