Other Lives
Other Lives is an American quintet from Oklahoma. Their music skilfully
incorporates melodic folk with richly orchestrated arrangements, filled with
melancholy strings. After a first instrumental album released under the name
Kunek(Flight Of The Flynns, in 2006), the band renamed itself Other Lives and
released an album of the same name in 2009, followed by Tamer Animals in 2011.
Synthetic sounds appear on the band's fourth album, Rituals (2015), produced
like the previous ones by Joey Waronker.
