Pop singer, songwriter, and musician Pasha Parfeni was born Pavel Parfeni on May
30, 1986, in Orhei, Moldavian SSR, USSR. He is best known for representing
Moldova twice in the Eurovision Song Contest with the songs “Lăutar” (2012) and
“Soarele și luna” (2023). He grew up in a musical household – his mother was a
pianist, and his father was a guitarist and singer - and began studying piano at
a young age. In 2002, he attended Tiraspol Music College and studied voice
before continuing his studies at State Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts.
