Paul Revere & the Raiders remain one of the major American bands of the 1960s.
The secret of their success lies in two ingredients: a seductive lead singer,
Mark Lindsay, and dandyish outfits. Musically, their pop-infused rock appealed
to teenagers of the time. A regular guest on television, between 1965 and 1970
he recorded a dozen albums that sold massively before Paul Revere and Mark
Lindsay embarked on solo careers. " Indian Reservation", sung by Mark Lindsay,
was one of the hits of summer 1971.
