Philippe Pascal
Poet and singer with the stage presence of a disjointed puppet, Philippe Pascal
is best known as the former figurehead of the group Marquis de Sade. When the
group split up, he moved away from his role as expressionist icon to develop a
style of writing that is still black, but a little more rooted in life. In 1981,
with a number of members of the now-defunct Marquis (Anzia, Papail, Thomas), he
formed Marc Seberg, a group that took him to 91, when he released his first
