Born in Guam on September 19, 1996, pop singer Pia Mia began building an
audience on YouTube before earning platinum certifications in America, the UK,
Denmark, Australia, and New Zealand with her 2015 single "Do It Again." She had
moved to Los Angeles five years earlier, working with mentors like Babyface and
Nic Nac while uploading her own versions of contemporary R&B songs and pop hits
