Born Pierre Raepsaet on May 28, 1948 in Brussels (Belgium), Pierre Rapsat was
soon destined for a career as an artist, playing in a number of groups before
seizing his chance with his song "Judy et Cie", which was chosen in 1976 to
represent Belgium at the 21st Eurovision Song Contest held in The Hague,
Netherlands. Although he only finished in eighth place, this was a major
breakthrough for him, coming shortly after the release of the album Musicolor
