PnB Rock – born Rakim Hasheem Allen on December 9, 1991 - was a rapper from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania best known for his 2016 single “Selfish.” The PnB in his stage name was a reference to the junction of Pastorius and Baynton Streets near where he grew up in Philly. When he was 3, his father was murdered and he was brought up by his mother, spending much of his childhood in shelters.
