The Japanese rock band Polkadot Stingray were formed in the city of Fukuoka in
2015 and are based around frontperson Shizuku who sings and plays guitar. The
band, who have built up a large following of Japanese music fans, play tightly
arranged tracks in a distinctive, syncopated style. Their debut national release
was 'Telecaster Stripe' and this has become one of their signature tunes
garnering over a million likes on YouTube.
