Bassist, synth and dj Alex Gifford began his career as a session musician,
playing synths for Van Morrison and saxophone for the Stranglers.
He then joined the dance collective "The Grid" and even worked with Peter
Gabriel in his Real World studio in Bath, England. In '96, he decided to fulfill
his own musical fantasies and compose for himself. Gifford joined forces with
drummer Will White. Their first ep, "Dive", released on the excellent "Wall Of
Sound" label, seduced Adidas, who decided to use an extract to illustrate one of
their ads.
