revival movement", Oje Ken Ollivierre, who goes by the name Protoje, is a
Jamaican singer-songwriter who has had three records in the top ten on
Billboard's Reggae Albums Chart.
Born into a musical family - his mother is Jamaican singer Lorna Bennett and his
father, Mike Ollivierre, is a calypso singer from Saint Vincent and the
Grenadines - he gained attention with a rap-influenced mix tape titled 'Lyrical
Overdose Vol. 1' in 2005 and released his first studio album, 'The Seven Year
