The career of neo-soul performer Rahsaan Patterson, born January 11, 1974, contains achievements in a variety of roles. His first big break came at the age of 11 when he started a four-year run as The Kid on Kids Incorporated, singing popular songs alongside fellow child castmates including Stacy Ferguson and Marta Marrero (the future Martika). When the show ended he sang back-up on a variety of recordings, including Martika’s 1988 hit single “Toy Soldiers”.
